Abstract
We found in the usual English language teaching, a considerable part of the high schoolstudents who communicate in English can’t express their views and feelings naturally andsmoothly. There is a communication disorder and barrier. The students’ interests of Englishlearning is gradually losing. Oral communication ability training related to the success or failureof English teaching, so the author take " psychological obstacle and countermeasure of ruralsenior middle school students in oral English study " as a subject for this study.The introduction part of this paper introduces the theory of oral English teaching in seniormiddle school, both theoretical background and practical background. In this part, the authoremphasizes the importance of Oral English teaching in the whole teaching course. There existsthe urgency of studying the oral communication ability in the new situation of English teaching.The second chapter of this paper reviews the domestic and abroad oral English teachingtheory and the relevant research results, and put forward the value and significance of this study.the third chapter of this thesis presents the spoken English teaching and high schoolstudents’ speaking ability study design in Nansha district. Through the basic understanding of thesituation and questionnaire survey of Nansha district high school students, this paper moreclearly illustrates the present situation of oral expression ability of high school students. Thispaper expounds the connotation of oral expression ability in order to improve the rural highschool students’ speaking ability practice exploration and establish the theoretical basis.Chapter4of this paper, this paper introduces the analysis of the reasons of the low Englishspeaking ability of rural high school students. From the subjective and objective factors, theauthor probe a concrete theoretical exploration of the defects in the oral English on the rural highschool students, providing a strong theoretical support for the education practice.In chapter5of this paper, the author putts forward some specific strategy to improve oralEnglish ability of rural high school students in present situation. According to the characteristicsof high school students’ oral English communication, combined with education and psychology,the relevant theory of the teaching of oral communication foundation, based on the teachingpractice of oral communication, grope for ways and means of developing oral Englishcommunication ability of rural high school.
